Bath bombs are fun, colorful balls of dry ingredients, palm-sized spheres or blocks that fizzle and dissolve rapidly and release essential oils when tossed into your bathwater.
The average shelf life of bath bombs is around six months. Bath bombs are a compacted mix of natural ingredients such as sodium bicarbonate(baking soda) and citric acid. Both Ingredients have a long shelf life, but citric acid starts to lose its potency over time.
Yes! Our bath bombs are made with only the best ingredients that are good for you, your appliances and the Earth.
Our bath bombs are safe to use for children ages 2 and over with guardian supervision of course.
Our bath bombs should not irritate your skin, but they should not be used with open wounds or already irritated skin. It is important to note that reactions to scent blends and essential oils are possible, so make sure you know what works best for your skin.
A bath bomb adds emollients and softeners to your bath's water that moisturize and indulge your skin. You still need to wash your body with soap as the main beneficial ingredients in bath bombs are included to leave you soft, supple, and silky.
You can try this, but from our experience, they may break and crumble. The pieces will then dissolve faster than a whole bath bomb. Most of the bath bombs are designed for single use. To get the full benefits we highly recommend using the entire bomb in your bath.
There are many views on this and we recommend you do your own research and decide what is best for you when it comes to your pregnancy. Here is an article we found helpful in making your decision: https://momlovesbest.com/baths-during-pregnancy
When your tub is about halfway full, drop the bomb in under the running water to activate the foaming agents. Continue to swish and swirl the bath bomb throughout your tub until completely dissolved. Bubble bath can be used in conjunction with using a bath bomb, however we do add SLSA to create bubbles in our bath bombs. If you want more bubble— you can definitely add some yourself!
Slow-release means the bomb won't immediately dissolve in the bath right away. Most of the good bath bombs take about 6-8 minutes in the hot water to completely dissolve allowing you to feel the carbonation while in the tub.
